He's sure-footed and will escort you back to this charming Alsatian village every evening. Pleasure and relaxation guaranteed.

Walk around Obersteinbach
9,5 km with + 280m - Estimate time : 3h00
The adventure is yours in the company of your donkey! Enjoy the tranquil charm of the beautiful Lutzelhardt forest. Gradually climb up to Lutzelhardt castle and soon Schoeneck castle. Enjoy the wide views over the valley before returning gently to the starting village.

Walk from Obersteinbach to Lembach
13 km with + 400m - Estimate time : 5h00
Today, you're heading south to Obersteinbach. You'll follow the village along its wide plain before climbing up into this magnificent forest. The climb up to Wittschloessel castle offers a superb view over Obersteinbach. On the way back down, you'll have the chance to visit Wineck castle, a Vosges pink sandstone ruin hidden among the trees.

Walk around Lembach
11,6 km with + 550m - Estimate time : 5h00
This route takes you to the Almenfels viewpoint, a rocky promontory in a large cirque. The view from here is magnificent, a forest without a single human construction in the landscape. Even higher up, a series of typical red rock formations form the Ziegeunerfelsen. And here you are at Wasigenstein, one of the largest castles on the circuit. There are several rooms to discover in a maze of rock-cut staircases. On the way back, you'll admire the Petit Arnsberg castle before arriving at the asinerie at the end of the village.

Tour altitude: between 200 m at lowest point and 450 m at highest point.

Please do not hike off the marked trails.

The walks are more about discovery than sport. Your luggage is transported from accommodation to accommodation by us, and your travel pack accompanies you throughout your stay. We also provide logistical and technical assistance.

From Karlsruhe: Via B10/A65/K15 and L546 towards Wissembourg then D77/D3 towards Obersteinbach

Strasbourg TGV station. Then train or bus to Obersteinbach.
